Welcome to “Taleem o Tarbiyat”, an event that brings our ideas to life, as we embark on the journey of collecting books to donate to the elderly, providing companionship through the stories they unveiled. Using milk cartons which served as book shelves in college, being a cache of enlightenment given to our old age home, not only catering to their intellectual and emotional well-being but also fostering a sense of connection and community among our senior citizens.

In this heartwarming display of student-led philanthropy, our volunteers were filled with ingenuity and compassion as their efforts were met with overwhelming support from both the student body and the college administration, as volunteers poured in to assist with sorting, packaging, and distributing the donated books. Moreover, they arranged and organised all the reading material for the Elderly at the Old Age Home, to ensure its easy access to them. The project not only provided seniors with access to literature but also fostered intergenerational connections and a sense of community spirit.

Buoyed by the success of their endeavor, the students are already brainstorming future initiatives to expand their impact, including regular reading sessions and interactive workshops tailored to the elderly residents’ interests and needs. This endeavor serves as a testament to the power of youth-driven initiatives and the transformative potential of education beyond the classroom.
